While our career advisors can help you to identify placements, the university runs its own programme called QTemps which helps you to find paid temporary work, including roles on campus and with our external business partners.

QTemps is Queen Mary’s internal recruitment service that places students, graduates and members of the local community into temporary work on campus, within the local area and virtually. We pay a minimum of £10.85 per hour (London Living Wage) PLUS holiday pay for all our placements, so it is a great way of earning money whilst gaining meaningful work experience.
