How many referees will I need for my postgraduate application?

You will normally need one referee, however certain programmes may require two. This will be stated on the application. 

If you are currently studying, or if you have graduated within the last five years, you should provide an academic referee. Professional references may be considered if you have graduated more than five years ago.
